Skillet 2018

Skillet toured quite a lot in 2018 in support of their ninth studio album, entitled 'Unleashed'. They played the Ronda in Utrecht on June 22nd, and it was money well spent! There was a very positive energy throughout the entire concert, and the band looked like they were having a blast. Heavy guitar riffs, keyboards and the mix between John Cooper's hard rock voice and Jen Ledger's high-pitched angelic voice matched like salt & vinegar. Skillet has always been a very successful band, you know what you're signing up for when you're listening to them. The occasional God-influenced speeches are what make their music even more interesting to me in a live setting, even as a nonreligious person. The Last Element as an opener was also amazing! Great live band, I have been following them closely ever since that day.
